Fresh herb leaves (basil, chives, oregano, savory, tarragon or thyme), snipped

Directions

  • 1 Scrub potatoes but do not peel. Pierce potatoes to allow steam to escape. Cook potatoes as desired; top with sour cream and chives.
  • 2 <B>Potato Cooking Guide</B><BR><BR> <B>To Microwave:</B> Arrange about 1 inch apart in circle on paper towel in microwave. Microwave uncovered (12 to 14 minutes for 6 medium potatoes) or until tender.
  • 3 <B>To Bake:</B> Rub potatoes with shortening, if desired, for softer skins. Bake (45 minutes in 375°F oven, 1 hour in 350°F oven, or 1 1/4 hours in 325°F oven) or until tender.
