Ingredients

cups thinly sliced, peeled potatoes (about 6 medium)
1/2
cup chopped onion

tablespoons all-purpose flour

teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon pepper

cups chopped cooked ham

(14.5-oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained, cut-up

tablespoons margarine or butter, cut into small pieces

Directions

  • 1 Spray inside of 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Layer half of potatoes, onion, flour, salt, pepper, ham, tomatoes and margarine in sprayed slow cooker. Repeat layers.
  • 2 Cover; cook on high setting for 1 hour.
  • 3 Reduce heat setting to low; cook an additional 5 to 6 hours. Stir before serving.
Tips  

Just add a crisp green salad and Chive Crescents to complete this family-favorite dish. Separate 8-oz. can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls into 8 triangles. Brush triangles with 1 tablespoon melted margarine. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives. Roll and bake as directed on can.
