For easier cutting, cool brownies and bars completely and use a plastic knife.

Ingredients

  • 1  box (1 lb 6.5 oz) Betty Crocker® Original Supreme brownie mix
  • 1/3  cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1  egg
  • 1  cup coconut
  • 1  cup toffee bits
  • 1  cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1  cup chopped pecans
  • 1  can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)

  2. 2In large bowl, stir brownie mix, pouch of chocolate syrup, butter and egg until well blended. Press into pan. Bake 10 minutes.
  3. 3Top with coconut, toffee bits, chocolate chips and pecans. Drizzle evenly with condensed milk. Bake 35 to 40 minutes longer or until edges are bubbly and center is set. Cool completely, about 2 hours. For bars, cut into 9 rows by 4 rows.

Why does the instructions say stir in a "pouch of chocolate syrup" when it's not listed among the ingredients?
