Take your morning smoothie routine from typical to tropical with this riff on the yummy almond-laced cocktail.

Ingredients

3/4
cup frozen pineapple
1/2
cup frozen cherries
1/2
cup orange juice
2
tablespoon lime juice
1/2
cup almond milk

Directions

  • 1 In blender, place all ingredients. Cover; blend on high speed until smooth.
  • 2 Pour into large glass. Serve immediately.
Tips

If you have fresh pineapple or cherries on hand, feel free to use them instead of their frozen counterparts. To keep the mixture icy, add 1/2 cup ice cubes.

These smoothies make an excellent non-alcoholic cocktail alternative for non-imbibing guests attending summer parties where blended drinks are the norm.

Always read labels to make sure each recipe ingredient is gluten free. Products and ingredient sources can change.
