At your next get-together serve these slow cooked barbecue meatballs for appetizer.

Ingredients

bag (35 oz) frozen cooked meatballs (72 meatballs), thawed

cup chopped onion (1 large)

cups ketchup
1/2
cup cider vinegar
1/4
cup yellow mustard
1/4
cup packed brown sugar

tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2
teaspoon salt
1/2
teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4
teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

Directions

  • 1 Spray 5- to 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place meatballs in slow cooker.
  • 2 In large bowl, stir together remaining ingredients. Pour over meatballs; stir to coat meatballs with sauce.
  • 3 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 6 hours. Stir before serving. Serve meatballs with toothpicks.
Tips  

Frozen meatballs make this appetizer quick and easy. Thaw meatballs in the refrigerator overnight before assembling.
