Slow-Cooker Chicken Haystacks

Ingredients

  • 2 cans evaporated milk
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 teaspoons onion flakes
  • Shredded optional toppings: cheese, green onion, pineapple, slivered almonds, celery, peppers, tomatoes, chow mein noodles
  • 8 cups cooked rice
  • 3 cans reduced-sodium cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

    Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and place in slow cooker.

    Add cream of chicken soup, evaporated milk, and spices

    Place lid on slow cooker and cook on high for 3-4 hours.

    To serve, place a mound of cooked rice on a plate and top with chicken gravy.

    Serve with bowls of chopped toppings for each person to customize his/her dish including: pineapple, tomatoes, sliced almonds, peppers, shredded cheese, chow mein noodles, peppers and green onions.
