This slow cooked dish has it all - turkey, collard greens and Progresso® chicken broth blended in a tasty side dish.

Ingredients

smoked turkey wing (about 1 1/4 lb)
3 1/2
cups Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
2
lb collard greens, ribs and stems removed, leaves coarsely chopped (about 8 cups)

medium green onions, chopped (5 tablespoons)
1
green bell pepper, coarsely chopped
1
teaspoon Italian seasoning
3/4
teaspoon salt
1/2
teaspoon pepper
Red pepper sauce

Directions

  • 1 Remove skin and meat from turkey wing; discard skin and bone. Coarsely chop meat.
  • 2 Spray 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, stir together turkey and remaining ingredients except pepper sauce.
  • 3 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 9 hours. Serve with pepper sauce.
Tips  

Look for packages of already chopped collard greens in the produce section of your grocery store.
