4
medium stalks celery, chopped (2 cups)
4
medium carrots, chopped (2 cups)
1
large onion, chopped (1 cup)
3 1/2
cups Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32 oz carton)
2
cups dried lentils (1 lb), sorted, rinsed
4
cups water

Directions

  • 1 In 5- to 6-quart slow cooker, mix all ingredients.
  • 2 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
Tips

If you don't have leftover ham, purchase deli baked ham for this recipe and ask that it be cut into 1/2-inch slices. Then just cut each slice into 1/2-inch pieces.
