These mozzarella-stuffed meatballs are slowly cooked in pizza sauce, and then served in biscuit bowls for a fun family meal.
Use additional spices, herbs or seasonings to flavor the meatballs as you prefer. I also like adding in a little garlic powder here and there.
For make-ahead, prepare the meatballs the night before up until just before browning. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until the morning, then continue with the searing steps.
