Slow-Cooker Pulled BBQ Pork Sandwiches

    Easy homemade BBQ sauce drenches pork roast and simmers in a slow cooker all day long for a deliciously simple meal. Just let it cook, then shred the pork and serve on fresh bakery buns. Yum!
                Slow-Cooker Pulled BBQ Pork Sandwiches

Ingredients
- 3 to 4 pound pork roast
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 2 dashes hot pepper sauce
- 1/3 cup white wine
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoon cold water
Instructions
- 
                        Step1Rinse pork roast in cool water, and pat dry with paper towels.
- 
                        Step2Add 1/3 cup white wine to bottom of slow cooker pot. Place roast in pot and turn temperature gauge to high.
- 
                        Step3Mix remaining ingredients and pour over roast.
- 
                        Step4Cover and cook 6 hours on high temperature (or 12 hours on low).
- 
                        Step5Check for doneness. Remove pork roast to a large bowl and pull apart with two forks until it is finely shredded.
- 
                        Step6In a small prep bowl, add 2 tbsp water to 1 tbsp cornstarch and mix until smooth. Add cornstarch mixture to BBQ sauce in pot, whisking until well integrated. Continue to whisk until sauce thickens slightly. (Repeat cornstarch process for thicker sauce.)
- 
                        Step7Add shredded pork back into BBQ sauce in the pot. If not yet ready to serve, reduce slow cooker temperature to Low or Warm.
- 
                        Step8Use a slotted spoon to drain pork and place it by spoonfuls onto bakery buns. Serve immediately.
- 
                        Step9This meat freezes well or keeps in refrigerator for leftovers. Reheat over stove or in microwave.
