Slow cooked sauerkraut with cheese and beef makes a perfect appetizer for this Halloween - served with crunchy crackers or pretzel rods.

Ingredients

cups shredded Swiss cheese (8 oz)

cups sauerkraut, drained, finely chopped

package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

cup Thousand Island dressing
1/2
cup milk
1/2
lb thinly sliced cooked corned beef (from deli), coarsely chopped
Crackers or pumpernickel pretzel rods, if desired

Directions

  • 1 Spray 2 1/2-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, stir all ingredients except crackers or pretzel rods until well mixed. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 3 hours.
  • 2 Stir well before serving. Serve dip warm with crackers or pretzel rods.
