    Ingredients

    • 1 pound chicken leg quarters
    • 1 large onion
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 1 (18 ounce) can Progresso Recipe Starters Creamy Garlic Cooking Sauce
    • 1/2 cup sherry
    • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
    • 4 cups white rice, cooked (if desired for serving)

    Directions

    1. 1Place chicken leg quarters, onion, garlic, Progresso sauce, and sherry in a large slow cooker.
    2. 2Cover and cook on low for 6 – 8 hours.
    3. 3Serve chicken pieces over cooked rice.
    4. 4Alternate serving suggestion: Shred the chicken meat, if desired, and stir into the sauce and serve over the rice. Garnish with chopped parsley.
