Tips

Expert Tips

Sliced cooked sausage can be used in place of the ham.

Although you can purchase deli ham and dice it at home, you can also purchase a package of diced ham as a great time-saver.

This fragrant bean soup is perfect fare for a chilly winter evening. Serve with slices of a crusty French baguette and a warm cherry crisp for dessert.
