Do you think that melting the butter and then pouring it over the cake mix will help with distribution?

Hi Anon, It sounds like you may not have distributed the butter evenly or generously enough. The butter helps to moisten the cake mix.

Hi all, the pudding is mixed and put directly into the cobbler. It cooks while in the oven. Enjoy!
