Garlic bread creates a tasty base for barbeque sauce and shredded beef. Topped with cheese and popped into the oven, these sandwiches are as hearty as they are easy.

Ingredients

package (10 oz) frozen garlic bread
1
container (18 oz) refrigerated original barbeque sauce with shredded beef
1
cup finely shredded Cheddar-American cheese blend (4 oz)

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. On ungreased cookie sheet, place bread halves, garlic side up. Top each half of bread evenly with barbeque sauce with shredded beef. Sprinkle each with 1/2 cup cheese.
  • 2 Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until beef mixture is thoroughly heated and cheese is melted.
  • 3 To serve, cut each half of bread into 3 pieces.
Tips  

Use a serrated knife to cut these meaty open-faced sandwiches.
