Ingredients

  • 6 apples washed, peeled and sliced
  • 1 roll (16.5 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Sugar Cookie Dough, rolled into balls
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter

    Wash, peel and slice the apples.
  • 2
    Place them on the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch pan and pour the brown sugar over the top. Add 1 tablespoon butter, cut into chunks, around the pan.

    Combine the white sugar and 3 tablespoons cinnamon into a bowl and roll each round cookie dough ball in the sugar mixture.

    Place the cookie dough balls on top of the apple mixture.

    Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for about 15 minutes or until cookies are baked. Cool slightly and serve either warm or at room temperature with ice cream or whipped cream.

    Using just two main ingredients, apples and sugar cookie dough rolled in  cinnamon sugar, you can create the best apple cobbler ever -- snickerdoodle-style!

    The aromas of fall fill the house when this cobbler is baking -- cinnamon, sugar sweetness and apples -- perfect for when your guests arrive. Serve it warm with some vanilla ice cream and everyone will be asking for the recipe. You don't even have to share how easy it was to make!

    So let's get to it:

    Start with Pillsbury sugar cookie dough and apples. 

    Wash, peel and slice the apples. Place them on the bottom of a 9x13 pan and pour brown sugar over the top. Add 1 tablespoon butter cut into pieces around the pan.

    Combine 1/2 sugar and 3 tablespoons cinnamon into a bowl.

    Roll each round cookie dough ball in the sugar mixture.

    Place the cookie dough on top of the apples mixture. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes or until cookies are baked.
