    Ingredients

    • 2 2/3  cups water
    • 2  tablespoons margarine or butter
    • 1  teaspoon salt, if desired
    • 3/4  cup milk
    • 2 2/3  cups Betty Crocker® potato flakes mashed potatoes (dry)
    • 1/3  cup sour cream
    • 1  tablespoon chopped chives

    Directions

    1. 1Heat water, margarine and salt to boiling in 3-quart saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in milk and dry potatoes just until moistened. Let stand about 30 seconds or until liquid is absorbed. Stir in remaining ingredients with fork just until smooth.
