Chocolate adds a twist to this spicy steak soup that's made using Progresso® beef flavored broth.

Ingredients

2
tablespoons oil
2
lb. beef top round steak, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1
large onion, cut into wedges
2
garlic cloves, minced
1
teaspoon cumin
3
teaspoons chili powder
3 1/2
cups Progresso™ beef flavored broth (from 32-oz. carton)
1
(14.5-oz.) can Mexican-style stewed tomatoes, undrained
2
chipotle chiles in adobo sauce, chopped
1
oz. unsweetened chocolate

Directions

  • 1 Heat oil in Dutch oven over medium-high heat until hot. Add beef, onion, garlic, cumin and chili powder; cook and stir until beef is browned.
  • 2 Add all remaining ingredients; mix well. Cover; cook 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until beef is fork-tender, stirring occasionally. If desired, top individual servings with sour cream.
