Ingredients

  • FILLING
  • 1  (9-oz.) pkg. Green Giant® Harvest Fresh® Frozen Spinach, thawed and well drained
  • 1  cup lowfat ricotta cheese
  • 1  garlic clove, minced
  • 1  teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1  egg white
  • CRUST
  • 1  (10-oz.) can Pillsbury® refrigerated pizza crust
  • SAUCE
  • 1  (8-oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1  tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4  teaspoon dried oregano leaves

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray. In medium bowl, combine all filling ingredients; blend well.

  2. Unroll dough; cut into 6 squares. Spoon about 1/4 cup filling onto center of each square. Fold dough diagonally over filling to form triangles; seal edges with fork. Place calzones on sprayed cookie sheet.

  3. Bake at 400°F. for 10 to 15 minutes or until crust is deep golden brown.

  4. Meanwhile, in small saucepan heat all sauce ingredients. Spoon warm sauce over hot calzones.
