Like a lot of cooks, you probably tweak recipes slightly to suit your family's tastes and diets. A little extra spice here... sub low-fat sour cream there...

Heat oven to 350°F. Place paper baking cup in each of 12 regular-size muffin cups. In medium bowl, stir brownie mix, chocolate syrup pouch, water, oil and eggs until well blended. Stir in banana. Fill muffin cups with brownie mixture.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until edges are set. Cool 3 minutes; remove from muffin cups. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
Frost cupcakes with frosting; top with Halloween candies and sprinkles.
