1/4
cup orange juice
1/4
cup light corn syrup
1/2
teaspoon vanilla

Pastry Snowflakes

1
box Pillsbury™ refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box
2
teaspoon coarse sugar

Strawberries

3
cups (1 1/2 pints) fresh strawberries, sliced

Directions

  • 1 In 1-quart saucepan, heat brown sugar, cocoa, orange juice and corn syrup to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Cover; refrigerate.
  • 2 Heat oven to 450°F. Remove crust from pouch; unroll on work surface. With floured cutter, cut 12 snowflakes from crust. On ungreased cookie sheet, place snowflakes 1 inch apart. Sprinkle coarse sugar over snowflakes. Bake 5 to 8 minutes or until light golden brown.
