Add an aromatic twist to your dessert table with this baked crumble - made using strawberries, basil and Betty Crocker™ cookie mix.

Ingredients

1/4
cup sugar
3
tablespoons cornstarch
6
cups halved fresh strawberries
1/4
cup chopped fresh basil leaves
1
pouch Betty Crocker™ oatmeal cookie mix
1/2
cup butter, softened
Cool Whip™ frozen whipped topping, thawed, if desired
Fresh basil leaves, if desired

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 11x7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • 2 In large bowl, mix sugar and cornstarch. Stir in strawberries and chopped basil. Spoon into baking dish.
  • 3 In medium bowl, stir cookie mix and butter with fork until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over strawberry mixture.
  • 4 Bake 50 minutes or until filling is bubbly and topping is golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes. Serve warm with whipped topping. Garnish with basil leaves.
