Step By Step

You've never had a strawberry mojito like this before – in shot glass form!

As prepared by Bev Cooks,

You're holding a frozen shot glass. Game on, SUMMER.

Sure, sure, sure, total novelty drink, but you guys, it's summer.

Did you like all those commas in that last sentence? Me too.

So this is fun. You make a yummy strawberry mojito mix, freeze it in some fun ice shot glass molds, pop them out of the mold, pour some white rum into each drink and CLA-LINK. But drink fast, cuz that mess is cold.

Let me show ya how!

Hull a bunch of strawberries. But you don't have to use the word hull if you don't want. Just slice off the stems.

Then juice about 1/3 cup of fresh lime juice. Taste it! (Just kidding.)

Now just blend it all in a food processor.

Then fill some molds! Stick them in the freezer for a bit.

Little tip on the filling: make sure to pour as even as you can on the tops, because once frozen, those are the bottoms of the ice shot glasses, and they may tilt and wobble on ya.

Once frozen, fill her up! I used white rum for these, to be authentic with the whole mojito vibe.

I thought I had more rum than I did, so they're only 3/4th of the way filled up. I was going to add water so they looked completely filled up BUT THAT IS SILLY.

So good. So refreshing! So mojito-y.

Bottoms up.

Summmmerrrr!
