Enjoy this stress free salad made using orange and cabbage, a tasty side dish that’s ready in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

1/4
cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4
cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
1
tablespoon sugar
1
teaspoon grated orange peel
3
cups shredded cabbage
1
(11-oz.) can mandarin orange segments, drained
2
tablespoons shelled sunflower seeds

Directions

  • 1 In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, whipped topping, sugar and orange peel; blend well.
  • 2 In large bowl, combine cabbage, orange segments and sunflower seeds. Add mayonnaise mixture; toss gently to coat.
Tips

This is simple to put together with packaged coleslaw mix in place of the shredded cabbage.

Substitute 1 seedless orange, peeled and sectioned, for the mandarin orange segments.

Before serving this sweet orange slaw, be sure to stir it well.
