Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup from 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Vanilla Frosting
  • 1 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped or halved pecans
  • 1 roll (16.5 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Sugar Cookie Dough, cut into about 15 slices

Steps

  • 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Press out the cookies (with your fingers or a buttered glass) until they're as flat as you prefer. You can skip this step as well.
  • 2
Place the pecans on the top of the cookies. Brush with melted butter, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until slightly brown on the edges. Let sit 2 minutes.
  • 3
In the meantime, warm the frosting for about 10 seconds in the microwave. Using a squirt bottle, drizzle the frosting over the cookies.
  • 4
    Serve immediately!

More About This Recipe

  • Did someon say cookies? Try these Super Easy Butter Pecan Cookies on. OMG. These cookies. Butter. Sugar. Pecans. A frosting drizzle. I HAD NO CHOICE. I had to make these and they were worth the effort (which was no effort at all considering how easy these are to make!). All you do is slice up some ready-made cookie dough, add on some pecans and butter, then bake. Seriously, that's it. And why stop there? Melt some canned frosting in the microwave then drizzle that gorgeousness over the cookies. You can share your creation or keep it all to yourself. Actually, these are so quick and easy, just make two batches!
