German potato salad lends its flavors to a pasta!

Ingredients

3
slices bacon
1/4
cup chopped onion
1
(1-lb.) pkg. frozen vegetables with pasta and alfredo sauce
1/3 cup water
1
to 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1
tablespoon sugar
1/8
teaspoon dry mustard

Directions

  • 1 Cook bacon in large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Drain on paper towel; reserve 1 tablespoon drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon; set aside.
  • 2 Add onion to drippings in skillet; cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes or until tender. Add all remaining ingredients except bacon; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender and sauce is thickened. Spoon into serving bowl. Sprinkle with bacon.
