  • 1  lb. lean ground beef or ground round
  • 1/2  lb. ground lamb
  • 1/2  cup chopped onion or 2 tablespoons instant chopped onion
  • 1  garlic clove, minced
  • 1/3  cup chopped pimiento-stuffed olives
  • 1/2  teaspoon salt
  • 1/2  teaspoon ground marjoram
  • 1/2  teaspoon rosemary leaves
  • 1/4  teaspoon black pepper
  • 2  tablespoons steak sauce
  • 2  (10-oz.) cans Hungry Jack® Refrigerated Big Flaky Biscuits
  • 1  (8-oz.) Feta, Syrian or Monterey Jack cheese, cut into 10 slices
  • 2  tablespoons margarine or butter, melted

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. In large skillet, brown ground beef, ground lamb, onion and garlic; drain. Stir in olives, seasonings and steak sauce.

  2. Separate dough into 20 biscuits. On ungreased cookie sheets, press or roll 10 biscuits to 5-inch circles. Spoon about 1/3 cup meat mixture onto center of each flattened biscuit. Top each with cheese slice. Press or roll remaining 10 biscuits to 5-inch circles; place over cheese. Press edges with fork to seal leaving one-fourth of circle unsealed. Brush each with margarine.

  3. Bake at 400°F. for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
