Put a Mexican twist on this family-favorite sandwich.

Ingredients

can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Homestyle refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1
lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1
package (1 oz) Old El Paso™ taco seasoning mix
Water called for on taco seasoning mix package
1/2
cup Old El Paso™ Thick 'n Chunky salsa
1
cup shredded Mexican cheese blend (4 oz)
1/2
cup shredded lettuce
1/2
cup sour cream

Directions

  • 1 Bake biscuits as directed on can.
  • 2 Meanwhile, in 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Add taco seasoning mix, water and salsa. Cook about 2 minutes or until hot.
  • 3 Cut biscuits in half horizontally. Place beef mixture on bottom half of each biscuit. Top with cheese, lettuce and sour cream, followed by biscuit tops.
Tips  

Serve these sandwiches topped with guacamole and chopped fresh cilantro.
