For authentic Asian flavor, combine ground chicken with your own fresh-tasting teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients

lb. ground chicken

cup corn flakes cereal, crushed

teaspoons sugar
1
teaspoon grated gingerroot
1
teaspoon soy sauce
1/2
teaspoon sesame oil
2
green onions, chopped
1
garlic clove, minced

Directions

  • 1 Heat grill. In large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Shape mixture into 6 patties, 1/2 inch thick.
  • 2 When ready to grill, lightly oil grill rack. Place patties on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 8 to 10 minutes or until burgers are no longer pink in center, turning once.
Tips  

To broil patties, place on sprayed broiler pan; broil 4 to 6 inches from heat using times above as a guide, turning once.
