    Ingredients

    • 32  slices French bread, 1/4 inch thick
    • 2  tablespoons olive oil
    • 2  cans (14.5 ounces each) Muir Glen® organic diced tomatoes with basil and
    • garlic, drained
    • 2  tablespoons chopped fresh basil
    • 1/2  cup diced fresh mozzarella cheese
    • 1/2  teaspoon salt
    • 1/4  teaspoon pepper

    Directions

    1. 11. Heat oven to 425ºF. Place bread on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush oil on slices of bread. Bake 4 to 5 minutes or until very light golden brown.
    2. 22. Stir together tomatoes, fresh basil and cheese in small bowl. Place about 1 tablespoon mixture on each warm bread slice. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
