Sweet, creamy and perfect ... this frosting pairs well with deep, dark chocolate cake.

Ingredients

sticks unsalted butter, softened to room temperature

cups confectioners sugar

vanilla beans, seeded

cup nonfat milk

Directions

  • 1 Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until creamy.
  • 2 To color: add food coloring and beat until well-combined.
