Doubling the chocolate goodness makes these vegan brownies a decadent egg-free and dairy-free treat.

Ingredients

cup all-purpose flour
1/3
cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1
teaspoon baking powder
1/2
teaspoon salt
3/4
cup pure maple syrup
1/2
cup original almond milk
1/3
cup refined coconut oil, melted
1 1/2
teaspoons vanilla
1
cup vegan chocolate chips

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 9-inch square pan with cooking spray.
  • 2 In large bowl, mix flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt until well mixed.
  • 3 In small bowl, mix syrup, almond milk, coconut oil and vanilla with whisk until well mixed. Stir into flour mixture until well blended. Stir in 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips. Spread in pan; sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips.
  • 4 Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean. Cool at least 1 hour before cutting. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows. Serve at room temperature.
