    Ingredients

    • 2  cups water
    • 1  tablespoon margarine or butter
    • 1  chicken-flavor bouillon cube or 1 teaspoon chicken-flavor instant bouillon
    • 3/4  cup uncooked regular long grain rice
    • 1/2  cup coarsely shredded carrot
    • 1/2  cup sliced celery
    • 1  tablespoon finely chopped onion
    • 1/2  cup Green Giant® Harvest Fresh® Frozen Sweet Peas, thawed (from 16-oz. pkg.)

    Directions

    1. 1In medium saucepan, bring water, margarine and bouillon cube to a boil. Stir to dissolve bouillon cube. Add rice, carrot, celery and onion; mix well. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Stir in peas; cook an additional 5 minutes.
