Easy, meaty mac-and-cheese starts with a bag of frozen veggies and cheese sauce.

Ingredients

cups water

cups uncooked elbow macaroni (6 oz)

bag (24 oz) frozen broccoli, carrots, cauliflower & cheese flavored sauce

frozen cooked Italian meatballs (about 9 oz), thawed

cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)

Directions

  • 1 In 4-quart Dutch oven, heat water to boiling. Add macaroni; return to boiling. Cook 5 minutes over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Do not drain.
  • 2 Stir in frozen vegetables with sauce chips and meatballs. Reduce heat to medium; cover and cook 11 to 13 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking, until sauce chips are melted. Stir in Cheddar cheese until melted.
