This marinade is great to soften up any venison (or meat) for prefect grilling. I got this recipe from the Sanford family.

More About This Recipe

  • One of the best parts about marinating meat is that you likely have the majority of the ingredients to make the marinade already in your kitchen. It’s a step in cooking meat that shouldn’t be overlooked because the longer your meat sits in the marinade, the more flavor and moisture gets infused into the meat resulting in a flavor-packed, tender meat for the grill. You can use this venison marinade on any type of meat you’d like to grill but it works particularly well on tougher cuts of deer meat. You can marinade venison for as little as a few hours, but it’s recommended that you allow the meat to soak for at least 24 hours, if not for a few days. You can find more ways to tenderize and flavor your meat with our sauces and seasonings. Make your own marinade with ingredients that you have on hand already.
