Vodka and fresh lime juice buck tradition in this easy, fresh delicious cocktail!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounce gin or vodka
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wheel or lime zest for garnish, if desired

Steps

    Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • 2
    Add the vodka, lime and simple syrup.
  • 3
    Shake rapidly for about 20 seconds.
  • 4
    Strain into rocks glass filled with ice.
  • 5
    Add desired garnish.
