Mamma mia! Hamburger Helper® dinner mix makes quick work of a hearty Italian skillet dish accented with three cheeses.

Ingredients

1
pound lean ground beef
1
clove garlic, finely chopped
1
package (9 ounces) frozen cut green beans
3 3/4
cups hot water
1
package Hamburger Helper™ zesty Italian
1/2
cup reduced-fat small curd creamed cottage cheese
1
cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)
2
to 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  • 1 Cook beef and garlic in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain.
  • 2 Rinse beans with cold water to separate. Stir hot water, uncooked Pasta, Sauce Mix and beans into beef mixture. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beans are tender. Remove from heat and uncover; stir in cottage cheese. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top; cover and let stand 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Tips

A 15-ounce can of cut green beans, drained, can be substituted for the frozen cut green beans. In step 3, stir them in after the first 10 minutes of simmering.

Top any leftover Zesty Italian Dinner with additional mozzarella cheese. Cover loosely and microwave on High just until warm and cheese is melted.
