Breakfast In Bed Menu #1: You're Ready To Say 'I Love You'

Show your love with breakfast in bed.
By TBSP Kitchens

Eating breakfast in bed seems like such an intimate and indulgent thing to do. It's a great way to surprise someone that you care about and spend some one-on-one time snuggled up before embracing your day outside of the bedroom.

You've always heard that a way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Fortunately for me, I love to cook, bake and generally feed people into liking me. Over the next few weeks, I will be pulling together a breakfast in bed menu every Saturday based on various situations that might land you there. We'll couple that with a Spotify playlist to give you the right tunes to set the mood.

The Scenario:

You've been dating for awhile now. You like each other a lot. That's obvious. Recently, you've started to realize that this "like" might be a little more. You're ready. It's time to lay down the l-o-v-e.

The Menu:

1) Libation: Champagne and St. Germain

You're approaching one of two situations: 1) They say "I love you" back and you'll want to have something on hand for a toast, 2) You're about to get a "Thank you. I appreciate you too." You'll really want that champagne then. I like this particular cocktail with St. Germain, because the elderflower gives the drink a soft and fragrant taste.

2) The Main: Greek Yogurt And Berry Stuffed Wheat Crepes

The tangy, sweetness will work well with champagne's light bubbles. Show me someone who isn't floored by crepes in the morning and I will show them the door!

3) The Sweet: Black & White Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

They're as traditionally romantic as a diamond ring. And this is where you sock it to 'em. I'd probably say something like, "Baby, we go together like strawberries and chocolate. I love you." POW!

Check in next week for a new scenario and a new menu. Good luck this week! Get that love out there!
