With their fun colors and playful appearance, neither kids nor adults can resist their frosty temptation. Don’t want to wait for the ice cream truck? Make ice cream treats yourself! Here are two easy homemade frozen treats to get you started.
Brownie Ice Cream Sandwiches
Fudgy brownies meet melty ice cream in Brownie Ice Cream Sandwiches
, a fun take on the classic ice-cream novelty.
To make the base for the sandwiches, stir up some brownie batter and bake in muffin cups. Then split the cooled brownies and sandwich a scoop of your favorite ice cream between the layers. Add some color by rolling the ice cream sandwich in sprinkles or candies. Place in a cupcake liner for a pretty way to serve the ice cream treat. The cupcake liner also catches drips -- not that these ice cream sandwiches will be around long enough to melt!
