Serve these colorful appetizers with Italian-style tomato sauce for dipping.
To make palmiers, mark a line lengthwise down center of dough, after spreading with pesto. Fold long sides toward center line, leaving 1/4 inch at center. Fold dough in half lengthwise to form strip, 14x2 1/2 inches, pressing dough together. Cut dough strip crosswise into 1/4-inch slices.
To make easy twists, instead of rolling up pastry, fold in half. Cut into 1/2-inch strips; twist ends in opposite directions.
