Bacon Pecan Cookies

Ingredients

pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ oatmeal chocolate chip cookie mix
1/2
cup butter, softened

egg
1
tablespoon water
1/2
cup cooked bacon pieces
1/2
cup pecans

    Heat oven to 375°F. In medium bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, egg and water until soft dough forms. Stir in bacon and pecans.

    Onto ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart.

    Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.

Expert Tips

  • If you don’t have pecans on hand, use walnuts, almonds or peanuts.
  • For a little extra decadence, drizzle cooled cookies with caramel topping.
  • To save time, use cooked real bacon pieces from a jar or package rather than cooking bacon.
