Banana Berry Surprise

Ingredients

cup fresh raspberries

cup fresh blueberries

cup sliced banana (about 1 large)

(8-oz.) container low-fat vanilla yogurt
1/4
cup powdered sugar

teaspoon cardamom

    Wash berries, reserving a few for garnish. Place all fruit in serving bowl.

    In small bowl, combine yogurt, powdered sugar and cardamom; stir until sugar is dissolved. Add to fruit; toss gently to mix thoroughly. Spoon into 4 individual dessert dishes; garnish with reserved berries.

Expert Tips

  • In the Orient, aromatic cardamom is known as "Seeds of Paradise." Buy it ground or, for even more flavor, in whole pods and crush the seeds yourself.
