Cut off stem ends of Brussels sprouts. Cook Brussels sprouts as desired.
<B>To Boil:</B> Heat 1 inch water (salted if desired) to boiling in saucepan. Add sprouts. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Boil gently 8 to 10 minutes (for 1 pound) or until tender; drain.
<B>To Microwave:</B> Place sprouts in microwavable dish. Add 1/4 cup water (for 1 pound). Cover and microwave on High 8 to 11 minutes (for 1 pound), stirring twice, until tender; drain.
