Expert Tips

  • Delicious with your favorite burger toppings!
  • When you have no leftover cooked chicken, use a 10-ounce can of chunk light chicken, drained, or a 9-ounce package of frozen diced cooked chicken, thawed, in its place.
  • Here’s a version called Oven Chicken Loaf that you can bake instead of cook in a skillet: Heat oven to 425ºF. Grease 1 1/2-quart casserole. Spoon chicken mixture into casserole. Place casserole in rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches; pour hot water into rectangular pan until 1 inch deep. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until top is lightly browned. Pour gravy over top of loaf.
