Citrus Glazed Quick Donuts

Ingredients

drops yellow food coloring
1
lemon, zested and juiced
2
cans Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Homestyle Butter Tastin'™ refrigerated biscuits
1
cup Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting
Sprinkles, optional
Cooking oil for frying

    Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium high heat for 3-4 minutes, until ready to fry donuts.

    Place Grands™ biscuits on a flat surface. Using a small circle cookie cutter or empty water bottle, cut out centers of biscuits.

    Fry biscuits and centers in hot oil for 30-40 seconds on each side, until golden brown. Place on cookie rack to cool slightly.

    In a medium bowl, combine icing, lemon zest, lemon juice and food coloring.
  • 5
    Microwave icing on high power for 10 seconds, stir well.
  • 6
    Dip each donut top in icing and top with sprinkles, if desired. Serve immediately.
