Chopped cooked turkey can easily be used instead of the chicken.
For Creamed Chicken and Vegetables à la King, add 1 small green bell pepper, chopped (1/2 cup), 1 cup sliced mushrooms and 1 jar (2 ounces) diced pimientos, drained, with the vegetables.
