Grilled Daytona Spicy Burgers

These ground beef burgers cooked on the grill give your taste buds something to cheer about! They’re seasoned with savory garlic, chili powder and ground red pepper, too! MORE + LESS -

Ingredients

pounds lean ground beef

garlic cloves, finely chopped

teaspoons chili powder
1 1/2
teaspoons salt

teaspoon pepper

teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

hamburger buns, split and toasted

    Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat. Mix all ingredients except buns. Shape into 12 patties, each about 3/4 inch thick.
  • 2
    Cover and grill patties 3 to 4 inches from medium heat 10 to 11 minutes, turning once, until no longer pink in center and juice is clear. Serve on buns.

Expert Tips

  • Top these spicy burgers with sour cream, guacamole or some of each!
  • When shaping ground beef patties, handle the meat as little as possible; too much handling toughens the meat when it cooks.
