Marinated Vermicelli Salad

Ingredients

oz. uncooked vermicelli

medium tomato, cubed

medium cucumber, coarsely chopped
1/2
cup chopped green bell pepper
1
(4-oz.) can sliced ripe olives, drained
1/4
cup chopped red onion
2
tablespoons salad supreme seasoning
1/2
cup purchased zesty Italian salad dressing

    Cook vermicelli to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; rinse with cold water to cool.

    Meanwhile, in large bowl, combine all remaining ingredients except salad dressing.

    Add cooked vermicelli and salad dressing to salad; toss gently to mix. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight to blend flavors.

Expert Tips

  • Vermicelli--very thin spaghetti--cooks quickly. Watch it carefully while it boils to make sure it remains al dente. Regular spaghetti may be used instead.
