Ingredients

box (1 lb 2.4 oz) Betty Crocker™ Original Supreme Premium brownie mix
1/4
cup water
1/4
cup vegetable oil

egg
1 1/2
cups old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats

pouch (7 oz) Betty Crocker™ Cookie Icing white icing

    Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.

    In medium bowl, stir together brownie mix, pouch of chocolate syrup (from brownie mix box), water, oil, egg and oats until blended. Spread batter in pan.

    Bake 22 to 24 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely in pan on cooling rack. Cut into 5 rows by 2 rows.

    Drizzle cookie icing over brownies in zigzag pattern.

Expert Tips

  • Instead of using cookie icing, drizzle the brownies with melted white or milk chocolate.
  • Add 1/4 cup of dried cranberries and 1/4 cup of dried apricots to the batter for more flavor and texture.
