Ingredients

Baking potato
Butter or margarine
Sour cream, if desired
Chopped fresh chives, if desired

    Scrub potatoes but do not peel. Pierce potatoes to allow steam to escape. Cook potatoes as desired; top with butter, sour cream and chives.

    <B>To Microwave:</B> Arrange about 1 inch apart in circle on paper towel in microwave. Microwave uncovered (12 to 14 minutes for 6 medium potatoes) or until tender.

    <B>To Bake:</B> Rub potatoes with shortening, if desired, for softer skins. Bake 1 to 1 1/4 hours in 375°F oven, 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours in 350°F oven or 1 1/2 hours in 325°F oven or until tender.
